Read our interview with Glenn Jacobsen, director in Mannaz.

From Copenhagen Business School:

  • MSc Master Business Administration, Strategy & Marketing
  • Graduate Diploma Business Administration, Organisation & Leadership
  • BSc Economy & Business Administration

Additional to this I have attended various courses, programmes etc. on strategy, marketing, communication, sales, psychology, coaching, leadership and NLP.

I work with strategies, brands and people - on all levels, and in many different sectors and markets.

I have app. 22 years of experience as a management consultant, senior advisor for executive teams and personal executive coach, and have worked with more than 100 different companies and organisations.

Additionally I have worked for app. 8 years as product manager, advertising manager or marketing director in various companies: Pioneer Electronics, Robert Bosch, Schulstad Bread Company, and DBU (The Danish Football Association).

I also train, teach, give lectures, and write books, papers and articles.

I am the author of two business books. (I) The first is about strategic branding and brand leadership (published by CPS Press, DJØF publishing, in 1999). (II) The second book is about personal leadership, branding and communication (published on, 2017). The book is in Danish, but will be available in an English version later this year.

What do you do in Mannaz?

I specialise in identity, purpose, strategy, leadership, change, branding, communication, marketing and commercial excellence.

What motivates you?

To enable people and organisations to design and make their strategies happen, change with success, create strategically balanced impact and realise their potential.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

A difficult question. I have had the pleasure of working with so many interesting clients and exciting challenges.

Right now, I would say writing my last book about personal leadership, branding and communication. It took almost 3 years and I have probably used 2500 hours on the book. During my research, I conducted in-depth interviews with 101 very different people.

What mistakes have you learned the most from?

At times, I have worked too much, gotten stressed, or have been too ambitious in reaching out for moving targets, and not stopping up and taking the time to reflect on my professional life.
