Stay Awake.
The best advice for leaders today is simple: stay awake, curious, and open! So much is happening in the world that anyone who assumes everything will remain the same is living dangerously. We are witnessing a paradigm shift, a turning point, a transformation, a revolution—depending on temperament and personality. The bottom line is this: we are heading towards a new normal. Something completely different is about to become standard. Business as usual belongs to the past; it is fading into the mist behind us. We are on uncertain ground; in a somewhat glib way, we speak of how geopolitical tectonic plates are shifting so dramatically these years that we must adapt to entirely new realities.

We haven’t got the leaders we need and the ones we’ve got are feeling out of their depth.
